This scene is from a reference photo and a quick painting sketch I did last year on my RV trip. Biloxi MS is where my eldest daughter was born. I wanted to re-visit the beach I used to visit when she was a wee baby. As she loves the water and beaches I decided to do this peaceful scene to hang in her coastal-color theme bedroom.

This is gorgeous! I love the simplicity, the cleanness, of this painting. I love the gentle waves, and the sparseness of the grass... The sunlit rays coming through the cloud, and the birds add a touch of life that makes this oh-so wonderful!
