Painting while on Vacation

I had such fun doing this painting for my grandson, Kerry, who is quite into the music of his generation. This still-life is from his actual guitar.

  8. Hi Sunny -

Hope you had a blast in PA - I know you're ready to be at home and get back to your schedule and your gardens AND your painting!

Great job on your paintings, girl! Your grandma would be so proud!!! Rest up a bit and then git bizzy!

  9. Oh yes, Sunny - I forgot to tell you, I've been using Sevin dust on my broccoli and cabbage. I just put it in a quart jar and punch holes in the lid and dust it on the plants. This is my first year for cabbage so I hope that works. That's what the lady at the nursery said to use. Of course, when it rains you have to reapply. It worked good on my broccoli last year, and the leaves are similar.
    Good luck with that!

  10. Me, again, promise last time!

I see you've been enjoying some of the painting blogs - Hanson is great - he's one of my favorites! Sunny, you can also google the Greenhouse Gallery of San Antonio and they can add you to their email. They will send you an email when new artists or new works come out, and you can search all over their website and see all the wonderful artwork. There's another one in Fredericksburg - WhistlePik Gallery. I think you'll enjoy looking at both!
