Homesteadin' Series #2

This is the 2nd painting in my Homesteadin' Series. Please forgive the glare as it is fresh off the easel.

"Happiness is Homemade"
3" x 4.5" oil on stretched canvas mini
(available)
On wash-days my Mom would cut thick slices of home-made bread and add a big scoop of strawberry jam to keep us kids happy until suppertime. I think I was a little stingy with my slice .... I'll have to fix that :)

Is there anything better than home made bread? Nice warm colors in this, perfect. I love your "Quilt Maker", I bet your client was thrilled.

I can smell that yeast bread right now!

you're doing such a great job on your paintings! I'm impressed that you've stayed busy during Thanksgiving! I'm hoping to get my paints and brushes out soon! Seems like my two days off now are filled to the brim with "have-to's" for either me or my husband!

I'm looking forward to the next painting!
